installation instructions - Prozima Development Release v0.3

requirements

Requires a version of the Sun Java Standard Edition Runtime Environment to be installed on the host machine before Prozima is installed. At least version 6 of the JRE is required. The latest version for your platform can be downloaded from here.

windows

• Download the prozima-v03-win.zip file to your PC.
• Unzip the folder prozima-v03 using an aplication such as 7Zip or Winzip.
• Verify you have at least version 6 of the Java Runtime Environment installed.
• Double-click the prozima-v03.exe file to execute the application. (Note : This executable file does not permanently install the application on the PC. Deleting the downloaded and extracted files will delete the application.)

Other Operating Systems (Mac,Linux,Solaris)

• Verify you have a correct version of the Sun JRE installed on your system: java -version.
• Download the prozima-v03.zip file to your home directory.
• Unzip the file's contents into a location within your home directory: unzip prozima-v03.zip.
• The unzipped directory prozima-v03 contains a runnable jar file. Execute the runnable jar file prozima-v03.jar using the command: javaw -jar prozima-v03.jar
